Buoyancy - Lars Campbell (Physical)

Buoyancy was written for the Rose City Brass Quintet in 2020 during the Covid pandemic for RCBQ's recording Disquiet. It is in one movement, and features open harmonies and a bright passing of material from voice to voice. The coda section flies above and has rhythmic independence across the ensemble.
